Icon of the Seas Dining

Icon of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's first ship in its newest Icon class. When it debuts in Jan 2024 it will be the largest cruise ship at sea and be unlike and vacation we have experienced before. Today we are taking a look at all the dining available on board from new offerings to old favorites. There will be no shortage of places to dine.

The Empire Supper Club is one of the new dining venues on board. Located in the Central Park neighborhood it is meant to be reminiscent of the 1930s in New York City.

Each night there will be two dinner seatings available to experience the 8 course menu offered. The menu will feature premium American cuisine and offer selections such as caviar and waygu. These courses will also be paired with a beverage. A three piece band will be in the venue playing as you dine.

Think of Celebration Table as an elevated Chef's Table. Note that the traditional Chef's Table will still be offered, too.

It is going to be a fully rentable private dining room located inside of Hooked Seafood on Deck 15 that will be able to seat up to twelve passengers and feature floor-to-ceiling windows for some of the best ocean views on the ship.

The menu will be prix fixe, meaning that all guests will enjoy the same offerings family style; however, there are four different menus to choose from: Italian, Asian, American, and Seafood. There will be an option to personalize and upgrade the selections, too.

The AquaDome Market will be Royal Caribbean's first food hall and will feature five different food stands as follows:

  • Crème de la Crepe - sweet and savory crepes

  • GNGR - Asian dishes

  • Toast and Garden - lighter fare including salads and sandwiches

  • Mac's - THE place for Mac n cheese remixes with toppings such as pulled pork, smoked Gouda and more.

  • Feta Mediterranean - fresh pitas and bowls

The Market will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On Icon of the Seas Cafe Promenade has been replaced by Pearl Cafe.

Do not worry, though-- you will still be able to enjoy a selection of complimentary sandwiches, ready-made salads, coffee, and more at any hour; it will also be open 24-hours.

Pearl Café will have cozy nooks that offer specular ocean views, making it a great place to meet up with friends and family before dinner or catch up on your favorite book.

Basecamp will be located on Thrill Island and will feature different complimentary options as well as some premium selections available for purchase a la carte.

Basecamp will feature a bar and a bar cart serving your favorite cold beverages on-the-go.

This venue will be open from 11am- 10 pm daily with its bar opening at 9am. I mean, it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?!

Desserted is a milkshake bar mixing up your choices of flavors and toppings. These will cost extra but the options look to be endless!

Surfside Eatery will be a buffet venue located in the heart of the Surfside neighborhood. This will allow you to have additional dining options right in the middle of the action. Play with the kids at Splash away bay and only have to go steps for lunch. This eatery will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Surfside Bites will be a walk up window in the heart of the Surfside neighborhood serving easy to eat handhelds. Perfect For those who are still at the pool and just want a quick bite.

Pier 7 is the first family-oriented specialty restaurant that will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It will be located steps away from Playscape and the carousel in the Surfside Neighborhood.

Here, you will find casual California cuisine, with options ranging from tacos, to a smoked salmon benedict, and even buttermilk pancakes.

Adjacent to Izumi you will find Izumi in the Park. Located in the Central Park neighborhood it will allow patrons to get sushi and other Japanese favorites to go. Don't worry, teppanyaki and indoor dining space is still just steps away in Izumi.
